Mel Rosas

Painter. Professor of painting and drawing at Wayne State University (WSU) for 45 years, recipient of a Faculty Recognition Award there. Colleagues at WSU include Jeffrey Abt and Jim Nawara.

Current exhibitions

• La Frontera at the N'Namdi Center for Contemporary Art. Concurrent with solo shows by Darcel Deneau and Omo Misha in the same gallery. Opened October 3 and slated to run to January 23, with a "mid-day curatorial tour" on October 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
