Tylonn Sawyer
Painter, youth program producer at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, resident at the Red Bull House of Art (Cycle 4). Alum of the New York Academy of Art and of Eastern Michigan University. Recipient of the Peter T. Rippon Travel Award for independent study at the Royal Academy of Art in London. Recipient of the Alain Locke Award in 2019. Kresge Fellow in the Visual Arts 2019.

- Skilled Labor: Black Realism in Detroit at the Cranbrook Art Museum, 39221 Woodward Ave, Bloomfield Hills. Opened October 28 and slated to run to March 3.
- Drawing... a line goes for a walk, at the Detroit location of David Klein Gallery. Opened February 3 and slated to run to March 16.
